For more than ten years, I have been entering genealogy information for my family into my computer. My hobby was to compile the information others had labored to discover. My sisters, Helen Huff and Christine Dickey, have researched family information for years and it was with their reports that I began. Callicotte Connections by John T. Callicotte added much information and then came Calcote Family Journey by Frances Calcote Brite. Even after she published her book, Frances continued to supply family information as she received it. It was she who provided the files for the Calcott ancestors of Hercules.

For the Britt Family, the huge files of Edith Norton and Jason R. Richardson formed the basic beginning and Debra Brewer provided updates on the Mayberry Britt Family. Then came additional information from Daisy Britt Pierce, John Paul Smith, Kenneth Britt, Robert W. Britt and various reports from others.

For the Wall Family, the report by Ernest and Hugh Wall formed the beginning base. Rhonda Ferlita, along with many other sources, added to it. Much information about the Wall family was found in the book, The Stewarts of Amite County.

Donnie Durr made his records on the Jacob Durr family available.

Many family members have given information about their family branches and twigs. Any family member who has a connection to this family tree is invited to send in your information to be added to the tree. You will notice that the files have been privatized, meaning that personal information of living people has been protected. (See our Privacy Statement)

Perhaps you have favorite stories which you would like to share of family members who are listed on the tree. Send them in and they will be added to the next update.
